| Important Dates for Medicare Advantage coverage |
| November 15, 2007 – December 31, 2007 Annual election Period (AEP) |

| Anyone enrolling in a plan during this time will have coverage beginning on January 1, 2008. During this time, beneficiaries can: |
| |
- • Switch to traditional Medicare and a drug plan;
- • Join a Medicare Advantage Plan with a drug benefit; or
- • Join a Medicare Advantage Plan without a drug benefit, such as a PFFS plan, and select a stand-alone drug plan.

Beneficiaries in Original Medicare and a stand-alone PDP cannot switch to a different stand-alone PDP (unless they have Medicaid) or to an MA plan without prescription drug coverage, BUT they can enroll in an MA-PD.

| Beneficiaries enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan (MA-PD) can switch to another MA-PD or return to Original Medicare and a stand-alone Prescription Drug Plan (PDP), but they cannot switch to an MA only plan that does not provide prescription drug coverage. |

| Beneficiaries in an MA only plan that does not provide prescription drug coverage cannot switch to an MA-PD. They may return to Original Medicare, but cannot enroll in a stand-alone PDP until the November 15 through December 31 annual Open Enrollment Period for Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. |
